Ben and Alli worked together for almost two years and didn’t date. They flirted with each other. But they didn’t date.  Alli was even unsure whether Ben was flirting back. Until one day, Ben asked her out. On a date.  And then the rests is history.

I met Alli in July, or should i say i spoke to her on the phone this summer. Alli is the sweetest person one will ever meet. We hit it off right away.  The wedding was a blast. Alli had the best bridesmaids in the world- Janet, Kate, Anne, and Becky. They really made the whole day fun (along with other people too of course).

Check out the images below and don’t forget to click on the slideshow

To Alli and Ben- you guys rock! Thank you for being the coolest people ever, for weathering the cold, for being awesome to work with, for letting me do “my thing”, for your kindness, for allowing us be a part of your special day. I wish you both the best of everything.

Somehow, every wedding, almost, i get conned into taking a shot, or two,,, i don’t normally drink at weddings, but it is not so cool to turn down drinks, especially coming from bridesmaids;)

One really cool thing about this wedding also is my friend, and new associate photographer Julie Lowry shot this wedding with me. She did really well. This is one of her shots and she had several on the slideshow.

probably one of my most favorite shots of the night.

For the photo geeks, this was shot at 1/60 sec at f/4.5, ISO 640 at 16mm focal length,  using Canon 5D Mark II 16-35 f2.8L. I used a Vivitar 285, set at 1/16th power and placed on the dashboard. Actually, my 2nd shooter Ron was holding it. If you look closer, you’d see him.

I used 2 pocket wizards, one on the flash and one on camera to fire the strobe.

There you go,,, i try to keep things simple, OR NOT:)

Another one of Julie’s photo below.

A couple very notable vendor of this event:

Make up: THE fabulous Leslie Moore did everyone’s makeup. Leslie is one of the best out there in the makeup industry, if not the best. Check her out.

Venue: The Creek Club. This is a really cool place to get married or just have a party. I loooove shooting here.

Catering: Cru Catering . The food was just delicious. They made the best macaroni and cheese i’ve ever had in my entire life.

Ooh Events, who did the flowers and decor, and rentals and the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. I’ve never seen the Creek Club decorated like this before and I tell you what, it looked beautiful! Lisa Thomas and team are THE BOMB!

The Band: Lose Chains.  Really cool all-around band for your wedding and parties.
